My son uses this book at schoool, it appears to be a decent introduction to many math subjects, and continues on the course 2 and so on. It is appealing in looks and examples. However, be very careful- in trying to lighten his backpack I went on-line to buy this. The paperback version is not this text at all- it is a workbook. That is why it is cheap. Somehow my son didn't want more problems to do....

It was the wrong revision. Copyright date should always be listed CLEARLY. I was looking for the CD to go with the teachers text I had for my class.

I tutor a 6th grader and this is the math textbook used at her school. Obtaining the same math workbook and preparing tutoring sessions with it is very relevant to the student.

The book came for a middle school student and it was in top shape!! Thanks for posting it on Amazon!

I teach adult school math and was looking for something more concept based rather than rote/drill based and thought I'd try this book which is part of a 3-book middle school sequence. This is definitely a book that augments a teacher's lecture. It doesn't work as a standalone text.

This is my son's 6th grade math textbook also. I was very impressed
with the book. It looks much better and more comprehensive than
most of the math books I had looked at for his level. I purchased this
book as a home reference for my 6th grader and even my 4th grader.
My 4th grader is not ready for all the topics, but I have been
so impressed with the subject matter, outlines, images, problems,
and practicality that it will serve as a great reference for him also.
This is really a great textbook!

I received a book with ISBN 0130631361.

Previously I had ordered the same book as a used one, and again I received a wrong book with ISBN 0130631361.

I lost more than 100 $.

I think I deserve a an explanation and a compensation.

The item was in great condition and listed a fair price.
