Atlus is claiming amazon is participating in a preorder deal where you get a free art book and music cd just for preordering. I guess amazon does not want us to know that for some reason, since there is no mention of this anywhere on amazon. Can anyone actually confirm amazon will do this for us.

Second-ed - This only became pre-orderable within the past few days (i actually think within the past 24 hours) so if nothing shows up by the end of the week, let's email them, eh?

I contacted Customer Service via chat about this moments ago, and they said that they should be updating the page to include the artbook and CD pre-order offer. Hopefully it'll be updated within a few days.

Atlus goodies usually aren't retailer exclusives but bundled with the first printing.

That is true and it may apply in this instance too, but I find it strange that Atlus went out of there way to list specific retailers. They could have simply said "bonuses apply to preorder only," or something like that. I am still waiting for amazon to state that the bonus will come with preorder (like's product page has) otherwise I may have to preorder with amazon's competition.

I am in the exact same boat as J.T. my only problem is my gamestop orders always come in damaged. I am hesitant to order from them.

MeowMix says:
It's because of the Free Shipping. Free Shipping takes longer; it even says so (5 to 8 days) when you decide on shipping speed.

Arggh, mine came with a crushed, banged up box. I am so sick of amazon sending me limited edition stuff and receiving it in a jacked up state. I think I'm just gonna go with Gamestop from now on.
