Fantastic! I hope they never stop making this. I've tried other primers and all are either greasy or sticky. This pumps like a mouse and smoothes on easy with a velvety finish. My make up shows less streaking and I don't get those build ups in the fine lines at the end of the day.
I will keep buying it as long as they make it. It's worth the $$ to me.

I was a little hesitant to try this product because it got mixed reviews on MAC's website, but I was looking for a good quality primer, so I decided to give it shot. I am glad that I did! It goes on really smooth and my make up stays on pretty well all day, I know other people have complained about the shimmer in it but it doesn't really show up on me (maybe I'm different) and it just makes my oily, acne-prone skin look smooth and flawless when paired with my Revlon colorstay foundation, and MUFE HD loose setting powder. It may not work for everyone, but it definitely works for me and though I find it to be a little pricey, I will certainly continue to use this product!

This product is amazing; I've been using it for years. I'm 49 and people routinely comment on my "perfect" skin, that it makes me look like I'm 30! Glides on like silk and makes your face feel smooth as a baby's bottom :-)
I also LOVE the little bit of shimmer. It's not enough to notice overtly, but adds that beautiful luminescent quality to your skin.

I don't wear much makeup, just a light powder foundation over the primer, but it provides a perfectly smooth, silky "canvas" on which to apply your other makeup.

Worth every cent!!

It glides on very smoothly and a little goes a long way! Its very translucent and creamy w/ a very subtle hint of pearl color- like ground glitter... does that sound weird or what?! Really hard to explain, its so unique that way. I like the feel, its not greasy or glue like. You should go to MAC and see if they have a tester, Im sure you'll love it. Its a lil' pricey, but well worth it =)

I bought this primer after reading rave reviews about this product that it makes your foundation stay on longer and not smudge as much. Well I though this was working initially but after a few days of usage, this gave me horrible breakouts, including cystic acne! I would never recommend this product to anyone and I don't know how people like this product so much, it just doesn't make sense to me. I looked up the ingredients on this and it said that it MIGHT contain silica and/or mica, both of which are known to clog pores. When I was using this product, I used to use nearly 6 makeup wipes to remove every trace of foundation from my face and also use a toner afterwards, but I still noticed breakouts. So I stopped using it and the breakouts were immediately reduced. I would not recommend this to anyone who has acne prone oily skin like myself.

After reading all of the reviews of how "great" this product is, I bought it for the first time. After one use, I had no idea why anyone would like this product as it is more expensive than some of the other primers and it did NOTHING! This product does not even smoothen out pores and my pores barely show but it did nothing! As far as the luminous shimmer that everyone liked, yes, when I put the product on my finger I could see it, but the shimmer was not there once I put it on. There is zero reason that I found to like this product and as it settled into my fine lines, I liked it even less. Usually I am a positive person and find the benefit in everything, but not this time. I will go back to my Smashbox Photo Finish as it at least covers pores, minimizes shine and does not settle into fine lines.

I LOVE this primer! I was previously using Smashbox primer and often times, it left my face feeling more oily than not (I have combination skin) I'd never really noticed a huge different after applying make up on top of the smashbox primer.. I've been very satisfied with MAC foundations and powders so I figured I'd give this a try.. The MAC primer goes on so smoothly and feels very light on my skin. Make up goes on well and my laugh lines were noticeably smoother. Make up stayed put until I removed it. Incredible product and I will purchase again!!
