I bought this headboard because I have limited space in my bedroom. It was very easy to put together with a partner and looks great; I have gotten a lot of compliments from friends and family. Three things to note: be careful when placing screws in top piece as they will go through and you'll end up with ugly bumps in the finish; there are no holes cut for electrical cords so you'll have to cut your own; and you need to have the screws that came with your bedframe to attach the headboard (no hardware is provided for this). Otherwise, its a nice piece of furniture and I'm very glad I bought it.

The product arrived very shortly after placing the order. It was easy to esemble although the pieces are not labeled and the directions are slightly poor. The problem is that I bought the matching bed with 12 drawers and it covers the bottom part of the headboard where the picture frames are shown in the above photo. Maybe it is because I used a real mattress, not with box spring, instead of a thin memory foam matteress.

I really like my headboard. The directions could have been a little bit better. I would not have been able to do it myself so my 16 year-old grandson put it together and should have used a rubber mallet at one point as a regular hammer put a hole in one of the boards. I was watching him and it wasn't his fault. We filled it in and colored it so it is not obvious. It has floor protectors already on it which is always my concern since I have hardwood floors. It is free-standing which works since my storage bed is queen-size and too high to attach it.Queen Size Storage Bed PLUS Bookcase Headboard (Espresso)

This product was pretty easy to assemble even though the pieces are not marked. The workmanship of material is terrible. Scratches and nicks on every piece. A few of the dowel holes had plastic tips broke off so they were inoperable. Even the back paneling was damaged. In the end I wouldn't recommend this to others. Too much damge in the material. Doesn't look new. Looks like someone had purchased it before- seen all the damage-repackaged it and then sent to me :(

We wanted a headboard that would be functional and that is exactly what we received with this piece of furniture. We were able to put our books, alarm clock, phone and many other belongings on this very functional headboard. It was also very easy to assemble. Some put together furniture has holes that don't line up, but that was not the case with this furniture.

We love this headboard - it was easy to put together and looks great. Definitely a good buy for someone looking for some extra storage.

I bought this headboard and i dislike it, it is horribly made, very cheap materials and it looks cheap save your money and go buy a real piece one that will last you forever and not come apart. Granted it was easy to assemble its not worth the price and issues.

I purchased a headboard expecting particle board but instead I received this headboard that is sturdy and convenient. It has a space for everything I need, I just love it!

I did not purchase this headboard through Amazon but got it as part of a package with the queen 12 drawer storage bed also made by Prepac that I purchased through another online retailer. The headboard is solid and has a large amount of storage in various size cubbies. It also has plastic sliders on the bottom so that it does not scratch wood floors. It was easy to assemble with good instructions (although as other reviewers have pointed out the parts are not labeled).

The only issue I had was with the cheap plastic dowels they included to attach the top piece of wood. The pre-drilled holes were too small and in the process of trying to hammer the top into place, the plastic dowels pushed through the wood veneer and caused it to crack. I was able to hammer it back down in place and used some touch up paint to repair the damage.

Other than that one small issue, assembly was a breeze and this a sturdy piece with lots of storage which is exactly what I was looking for.

This item is beautiful. The color is nice and it is very sturdy. It goes great with the storage platform bed. Looks very nice together. Would recomend.
