Screws are too long to secure handles. Lock will not work properly. I contacted company and they sent a black lock instead of brass. the lock will not extend far enough to engage slot. They sent a complete set of handles just like the ones that will not tighten. I give up!

I bought this because my CD collection had outgrown two other shelves we were keeping them on plus I wanted a place we could keep the CDs where the kids could not get into them and disorganize them. This case holds a ton of CDs plus it closes up and locks to keep curious little hands off your collection.
The only drawback is that is actually takes up a lot of space when the doors are open and because of the way the doors are designed to open you can't place anything close to this shelf. So when you are planning on where to put this you should make sure you measure your space using the doors open dimensions. This was not a major drawback it just caught me off guard when I realized how much more space it actually required.

this handy cabinet hold all my movies plus extra. a few things tho... the center wood beam used for front support does not go all the way back, but sits in front of the shelving so there are a few movies being hidden behind it. also when putting together, make sure that you put your items/movies in there to get an idea of where your shelf spacing should be BEFORE you attatch your permanent/fixed shelving. i had to take apart some a few times to be able to moved fixed shelves, it was a pain and i with i had laid down some movies first for spacing.
overall it is a good cabinet and holds alot. when shipped it comes in 2 boxes that are pretty heavy so make sure you have help just to move the boxes. i was able to assemble this myself (as with all assemble yourself furniture i get) without much frustration, just take your time.
