Let's be real here - at this price you aren't buying fabulous well-made furniture. What you DO get for the money is a large console/buffet which looks pretty good. It's average quality particle board and the back piece is painted cardboard - but the cardboard isn;t structural so it's fine. You can also leave the back off if you prefer. I just finished putting mine together and the drawers slide well, the finish is nice and it's perfect in my crafts room. It would be equally at home in a dining room, entry way, or any other room. All the parts were included. The instructions were fairly good, meaning I was able to put it together in about three hours. I'm happy enough with it that I'm buying another one.

I bought this thinking it would be a typical nightmare piece of furniture to put together, like most of them are. The instructions were a little difficult to comprehend at first, but once the intial deciphering was done, it was a breeze to put together. Also it was one of the best packaged furniture pieces that I have had delivered to me off of Amazon. There was no damage and it had plenty of padding to make sure that it wasn't damaged. I've had rough experiences with other furniture on here from South Shore, which almost made me stop buying furniture from Amazon.com, but this piece has at least given them a second chance.

This product is extremely cheaply made. It was difficult to assemble and the paint scratched off in spots while I was putting it together. The shelves are poorly finished. A piece of one of the cams for one of the drawers broke while tightening it so the drawer will probably fall apart. I wish I would have just sent it back when I opened it and saw what it was. I can't believe I wasted my time and money. For the money, I expected something nicer.

The shelf system came and as I was putting it together, I found that the center divider was not the right piece. Well being that the product comes from Canada it took another 10 days to get the replacement part to me. Aside from that, the trim that came with it is pretty shoddy and doesn't do a great justice to the overall look of the shelves. The picture online is way better than the actual product. I would stay away from this particular item. On a good side though, the customer service was excellent when I called about the wrong piece.
