AAA Home Furniture Discounts lacks integrity should be avoided at all costs. I have dealt with hundreds of Sellers in the Amazon Marketplace and AAA Home Furniture Discounts is by far the worst. They misrepresented the product (it's not solid wood and actually contains cheap particleboard) and refused to replace damaged parts, then taunted me and said they would win against any claim I might file. They are completely unprofessional and never even sent an order acknowledgment or shipping confirmation. DO NOT REINFORCE THIS BEHAVIOR!

The material is cheap. The holes were misaligned. The packaging fell apart during shipment. And the itself bed once put together is not very stable. I would recommend this for a friend who doesn't plan on sleeping much, but wants something pretty with storage space built-in.

Let's face it, you're not going to buy this bed because it's the best, but because it's cheap. The construction was good. Thick particle board that seems solid. The instructions were incredibly easy (Though when they tell you to put the JRN nuts in, don't bother. They'll fall out constantly until you screw them in a few steps later) and I put the bed together in about half the time they said it would take.

My biggest beef with the bed is that the slats are a little too bendy and a little too far apart for a box-free memory foam mattress. I had to go to the local lumber store and buy about $25 worth of plywood to lay down over the slats to be comfortable on the bed. I expected, because this bed was listed as a "platform" bed, that the mattress would be resting on a "platform" but what do I know?

Other than that, though (and really the bed was still under $400 including the plywood so I'm not complaining that much) I'm very happy with it. It's better than the price (and the reviews) led me to believe. Considering I was willing to settle for less, I'm pleasantly surprised.

I love the bed. Looks great put together and the drawers under the bed are a great space saver. It went to bed fairly quickly, especially for putting it together solo. The directions were easy to read. My only complaint is the wood the drawer glides get screwed into. The wood started cracking each time I hand screwed the screws in, until I got smart and drilled the holes a little deeper. The relieved some of the presure of the screw going into the wood. I guess the just didn't bore the hole deep enough.
I will call manufacturer and ask the to replace those pieces for me. All in all its a great bed for the money. We will see how their customer service is.

First, I really do love this bed frame. The design is beautiful, it's a sturdy platform, and it's a really efficient use of space. I love the drawers. It's the perfect bed if you want to put a big bed in a small room. Having said that, please be warned that it comes in over a hundred pieces and it took my husband about eight hours to assemble with breaks for cursing and drinking. If you're handy and you don't mind a challenge, it's a great bed for the price. If you don't know what a stabilizer is, you might want to keep shopping.

I purchased the Sonoma King Bed with storage drawer, and I loved the bed. However I can't say the say about their customer service. Customer service is very difficult to get in touch with, and you are not treated as a valued customer. My experience with this vendor was horrible. My account was overdrawn, and I was forced to return my purchase, because my displease with this vendor, and they refused to refund my perchase unless I posted a positive review on this vendor. I render $41.35 to this vendor, just to share my experience with other. Orer at your own risk. Other than that the bed itself was quit nice.

bad design leads to bowing effect of headboard and footboard, the slats pop out and fall. Have to reinsert them every few days

bed is made of medium density fiberboard, which is just highly compressed particleboard.
overall construction once built is not as sturdy as it seems and has led to the drawers sticking out at bad angles.

In order to fix the problem with the slats popping out, I placed pieces of plywood over them to distribute the load of pressure being applied from the mattress and sleeping on it.

For the money you are better off buying a bed at Ikea with drawers that have casters and offer more storage space. The amount of money and time (approximately 2.5 hours) I spent putting the bed together made me deeply regret my purchase. I am purchasing a Leirvik bed from Ikea and under bed storage drawers from World of Futons on amazon.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BED.

this bed has a good look. shipping is very expensive and takes about 20 days. parts are heavy and may get a little damage on the way. the drawers's front part do not get attached by the screws provided. I bought corner braces and it worked, I did not like this. you need about 5 hours to assemble it if you are good at following directions. you need at least two people.

Saves a lot of space (vital in a NYC apartment)

Cons:

Took a long time to build and a long time to ship
One of the drawers doesn't work properly and I cannot figure out what is wrong or how to fix it
Cannot have bedside tables with a bed with drawers (something I did not think of till it arrived)

I like it, I am very pleased. I hope to have it last for awhile. I am a little worried about it during our upcoming move. I would do it again with the knowledge of not expecting it to arrive too fast or for it to be easy to put together but I honestly really love this bed it fits exactly with my room.

I saw that this bed had quite a few negative reviews, but decided to try it any way because of the price. I am happy to say that the boxes the bed was shipped in were not falling apart, and the bed components were not scratched or broken. Though the bed is made of particle board, it's a heavy particle board that seems decently durable. I was worried about scratching the vinyl finish while putting it together, but luckily I managed not to.

Once put together, the bed looks pretty nice overall. I will say that one of the biggest disappointments was the fact that one of the drawers is not usable because the holes where you're supposed to screw the rail in didn't line up with the rail itself. So, I'll have to find the proper sized bit and drill holes myself when I get around to it.

Also, one of the other drawers refuses to close all the way but it's not that noticeable.

I was worried the bed would feel flimsy but it actually feels stable. Also, I read that some people fortified the inside of their drawers with plywood, but I didn't find this was necessary. The inside of the drawers are thin, but they work fine for storing clothing, which I'm assuming is what most people would use them for.

I also read that some people found the wooden planks that support the mattress uncomfortable, I honestly don't notice them at all and it feels like I'm laying on a solid surface.

In general, I'm happy with my purchase. The frame feels stable enough, the drawers open and close fine and I like being able to store extra clothes in them to free up space in my dresser. It's obviously a cheap frame, but I think it's good for the price (as long as whoever ships it to you takes care in delivering it.)
