5.0 out of 5 stars It's Simply THE BEST
I have had this phone for a month now. It replaced a Verizon cell that was costing me $50.00 a month ($10.00 of which were Taxes), $600.00 a year.. I average 250 minutes a month useage. Now for $200.00 for the YEAR, I received 1500 minutes added with the Double Minutes for life totaled 3000 minutes. That is 250 minutes a month at less than $17.00 a month! The reception is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Perfectly adequate phone.
This phone has good sound quality and gives excellent reception in the places I've used it. The Bluetooth feature works just fine. The camera isn't great, but what cell phone camera is? My only complaint with the phone hardware is that the casing feels kind of plasticky and flimsy; however, I've dropped it a few times with no damage, so it's apparently stronger than it...

The reception is good , the voice quality is good, the texting is good and the Bluetooth works with my U-Connect Bluetooth phone system built nto my car's audio system (2010JEEP Wrangler). I can, using the U-Connect Bluetooth system, make VOICE ACTIVATED CALLS on this phone. It has a host of other features...calender, camera etc... This is a GREAT BUY.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, Reliable Phone - It Does EVERYTHING!!, April 4, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We have been purchasing Tracfones for years and love them! They are reliable and they do everything. If you're afraid this is some kind of "junk phone" due to the price, think again. The LG600G not only does the basics, but you can text, call internationally, keep a contact list, surf the web, download ringtones and take pictures. The color screen is big and beautiful and the keys are a good size for adult fingers too! I have never had any issues with "dead areas" where the tracfones don't work, so that has never been an issue. My mother lives in London and I call her regularly from the US without any issues - the calls always go through and they are clear as a bell. Traveling around within the US? YES! It works great. When I pick it up to use it, it never fails to do it's job. For under $40, double minutes, no long contract or credit check and the price includes all the chargers you need - why would anyone pay $500 for a Blackberry that costs $125 per month to operate it?? LG is an excellent brand name in electronics, so go ahead and get it. I had a $12 (yes twelve dollars) version for a long time and it never quit. My 13 year old son has the LG600 too and loves it! This phone has officially replaced our home land line also - goodbye $75 monthly bill and goodbye taxes and fees paid to the phone company! We will be loyal Tracfone users for life due to the quality of the phones and the features. Thank you Tracfone for proving to the buying public that you don't have to spend a fortune to have it ALL!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Perfectly adequate phone., January 11, 2010
This review is from: LG 600G Prepaid Phone (Net10) with 300 Minutes Included (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This phone has good sound quality and gives excellent reception in the places I've used it. The Bluetooth feature works just fine. The camera isn't great, but what cell phone camera is? My only complaint with the phone hardware is that the casing feels kind of plasticky and flimsy; however, I've dropped it a few times with no damage, so it's apparently stronger than it feels.

My only complaint is with Net10 customer service, which is pretty awful. The people you reach on the phone are useless; they can't do anything you can't do for yourself through the website. Your only hope if you have a complex problem is to find one of their internal email addresses.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE my new TracFone!, December 25, 2009

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love this new TracFone! It's very easy to use and has many new features that my previous phone did not have. I've been a TracFone customer for many years now and have always been impressed with their service. There are very few "No Service" notifications in our travels--TracFone is everywhere! The LG 600G is awesome! You can download new ringtones, surf the Web and add several phone #s for contacts. I love the flip phone and the display on the outside of the phone. I'm a very satisfied customer.

2.0 out of 5 stars After two years not too impressed., January 3, 2011
This review is from: LG 600G Prepaid Phone (Net10) with 300 Minutes Included (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This phone works, however after using it for two years with Net10 service I would not recommend purchasing the phone. I have suffered from regular dropped calls, texting is difficult, and the phone will no longer send images. The ringer volume and speaker volume are too low. Net10 no longer offers the best deal for the money so I'm shopping for a new phone and carrier.

3.0 out of 5 stars I really wanted to like this phone, but..., August 5, 2009
This review is from: LG 600G Prepaid Phone (Net10) with 300 Minutes Included (Wireless Phone Accessory)
When I found out that Net 10 had started carrying a blue tooth enabled phone I was very happy. So I purchased the LG 600G (from Net 10 though, because Amazon didn't have them at the time). Here is my opinion of the phone.
Pros: 1.The phone was easy to activate.
2.Small enough to fit anywhere.
3.Text-messaging is easy.
4.Cheap pricing.
Cons: 1.The phone does not have very good menu navigation.
2.The ring volume is really low.
3.A lot of my calls were dropped, I'm talking like every day.
4.Whenever I would call my family or friends on their land-line phone
from the LG 600G another person's name would show up on the Caller ID,
thereby confusing people as to who was calling them. I called Net 10 several
times in an attempt to straighten this out, and each time nothing was
accomplished. so I just stopped using the phone.
5.The camera sucks on the phone.
If none of these things about the phone bother you, then, buy it, and try it for yourself. I can't make an opinion about the blue tooth capabilities because I never used that option on the phone.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for voice, no good for text messaging., June 14, 2010
The voice capabilities of this phone work well -- there's lots of audio volume, and the Bluetooth functions work fine. If you like to text message, however, you should avoid it. It randomly misses keypresses in text entry mode, making texting a frustrating experience. You have to go very slowly to type out a message without mis-keyed letters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Pleased, April 11, 2010
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased the first LG600G about 3 months ago and am well pleased with the results. I have had no dropped calls. All my calls are nice and clear. Seems to have enough features, although I was mainly interested in basic and just wanted the phone to work. I live in Pa and accidently called my Father-in-law in Florida. The call again was crystal clear. I just purchased the second LG600G for my wife for her Birthday. I love the double minutes for life of the phone and the ninety service days. I will never have a contract phone.

Agaain well pleased

I tried 2 of these phones. Both had terrible reception. Net 10 has better phones, but this one stinks!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent phone, horrible instructions, September 5, 2011
This review is from: LG 600G Prepaid Phone (Net10) with 300 Minutes Included (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I've used tracfone for years now and love it, my old phone worked beautifully until it died after 2 intense years of use, I bought this phone shortly after. My main complaints with this phone is -firstly- it comes with HORRIBLE instructions, to the point that after a week of trying to use it(it's navigation is very unusual and involves buttons that are unlabeled and unmentioned in the original instructions) I was about to send it back when I found this guide online (<...>) I am now keeping it. It's a nice little phone, my other complaint is that there is no zoom feature on the camera, but otherwise it is a good phone, nothing fancy but who needs fancy? Be aware though, unless you plan on looking up online guides the phone will be incredibly frustrating. It's navigation(while comprehensible to me with the guide) is unlike the other phones I've used before and it's accompanying guide is worthless. Once you've got it it works out nicely though, enough that I've changed my original review.
