This was purchased exclusively for use with 1-pint Häagen-Dazs containers. In order for it to cover the container as shown in the image used on Amazon, it must be pulled tight to where the neoprene fabric is stretching. Due to the tapered shape of the container, this causes the sleeve to easily slide back down. Also, the bottom fits very poorly. These are constructed by basically sewing two U-shaped pieces of flat neoprene together. The end result does not conform to a round bottom and quite a bit of excess fabric bunches up there. They add some additional stitching on the bottom to make it appear as if there are separate pieces of fabric designed to conform around a round bottom, but that stitching is purely decorative. My suggestion is to look elsewhere.

product is made dumb, one can't stand the ice cream in it, as it'll fall due to the bunching of an oval bottom covering a round bottom. magnet for 'frig is nice, until it grabs one's spoon (leggo my eggo--oh wrong ad)

It is a cute idea. Because the container is my bowl, I wrap a dishtowel around my pint of Häagen-Dazs to keep my hands from freezing. So, I thought this would be useful and you know, it is cute. However, the seam on the bottom keeps your container from staying upright when you set it on a flat surface. It certainly does not look like the picture. It's not that big a deal for me since I rarely put the container down, but it is slightly annoying. Other than that, it's okay. Heck, it only cost, what, around $8.00. It's worth that.

It is cute and novel. However, it is a bit tight when you try to put in a pint of "Ben and Jerry's" - the manufacturers could have been a little more generous with the amount of material they used. I would not buy one as a gift or recommend it to friends in its current format. However, if it were a little larger I would reconsider it as a cute gift for the ice cream lover who has everything else.
