I like this a lot, and it has an excellent capacity. The major issue with this product is the silicone top. It gathers a lot of dust and grime.

I returned Emile Henry because it arrived broken, and I ordered this one @ 1/3 the price and it is just as good, and even looks better than the expensive one. Very hand and a delight to have and use on the stove top and counter.

This is the most conventient "salt pig" I've ever used. Traditional pigs are always open and stuff gets into the salt. Other containers require two hands or two steps to remove the lid and get at the salt.

This one has a convenient, attached cover that won't get lost or dropped and is easy to use one-handed.

The included 1/2 teaspoon spoon is not of much use, but is stored out of the way so it really doesn't matter.

Great with Kosher salt in humid climates - no clumping!

Delivered on time and no problems - I purchased a second as a gift and it's equally well received.

I have never regretted buying this salt holder. It sits right on my counter top and gets used daily. I simply love it. It's kind of pricey in my opinion. But since I use it everyday, I guess it's really worth it. I would recommend it it to everyone.

Well made, a nice way of keeping my kosher salt handy without it being open to the elements. All in all I'm very happy with it. That being said I will list my gripes:

1. I agree with the other reviewer...the top attracts a lot of dust and grime...I just make a point to wipe the silicone down with a sponge more often.

2. The whole point of having a salt pig is the ability to grab a pinch of salt when you need it. I had read reviews of men complaining the opening was too small...well I'm not a man I thought I was okay...I can BARELY get my fingers in there but it's not very easy and making the opening just a hair bigger would solve the issue.

All in all I love it anyway! Especially the spoon in the back.

This salt pig looks great standing by on your counter and keeps your salt (or other seasoning) covered when not in use. The opening is a little on the small size, which is why it lost a star.

When I received this item, I noticed that the pop savor had leaned against the box. I took it out of the box, and when I tried to close the lid, there was a big hole left. (See customer pictures I've added). I left the lid open for 2 days hoping it would realign itself, but it didn't. I'm about to return it right now.

I am very happy with my purchase. It looks good, much better than a box of salt on the counter. I love that it is easy to access with one hand (though the spoon storage is a bit clumsy), and it is easily cleaned.

Very handy to keep near the stovetop and the opening is nice and large for grabbing pinches of salt. The onboard measuring spoon is a great feature. A little pricey however.
