Prepara Volcano 4-Piece Pop Set

I was looking for a small ice tray to make my own ices for my 2 yr old son. The handles are perfect for his grip. When the juices of the ice melts, it goes into the small opening of the handle. The only thing I was not happy with, once the cup is filled, the handle doesn't snap into place. It doesn't seal the liquids. I have to place a plate underneath, in case it spills.

Like the other reviewer, I like them ok but am disappointed that they don't click together like they're supposed to. bummer.

Would definitely not purchase these popsicle molds again. Too small, difficult to fill, and difficult to get the popsicle out once it's frozen.

I bought these today through a seperate retailer. I already had some chocolate popsicle mix made and was ready to use them but they were too tall to fit under the freezer shelf and so I had to try and balance them on the metal shelf. This was sort of awkward but much worse when one tipped and the top fell right off, hit the floor and splattered chocolate mix all over me and the floor not the mention the rest of it spilling all over the bottom of the freezer and contents below. I checked the other tops and they were all loose even though they had originally snapped into place or at least felt like they had. Thankfully I was able to drive them right back over where I bought them and return them. Too bad because although I didn't care about the volcano part of it, they seemed perfect for toddlers!

So, these are hollow in the center so you can add whipped cream, pudding, etc yum! Once frozen, I run under hot water for a bit until the lid comes off. I haven't had any problems with it being too hard to come out.
The BEST part about these is that the "handle" on the bottom is also hollow so it collects the drips coming off the popsicle!!! I eat these around my house all the time and never worry about spilling drops on the carpet. I'm going to order a second set so that I have enough for my friends too

Cons: It's hard to tell from pix and description, but these have a hollow center, so the finished popsicle looks like half a frozen toilet paper tube. Hard to remove popsicle without pulling out the stick, even when running under warm water, b/c the stick is so short. Hard to eat the last bit off the bottom of the stick, b/c the spill cup is rather deep.

Pros: Great feel in the hand, not too big, catches drips, and eye catching design. I had no trouble snapping the cups closed, unlike other reviewers.

Sadly, b/c they are hollow and b/c product is difficult to remove once frozen, I would not recommend them.

I love the shape. They hold any melted pop from dribbling down their hands and getting on their clothes, etc. I hate how hard they are to get out! You really have to man handled them or run them under warm water for a minute. Call me high maintenance but it's enough of a pain to give them 3 stars.

I had to write this review while returning to buy a second set (the kids are always eating them all before I get one).

I don't get why some people think these don't work.

The mold snaps together just fine, here's how I do it - using two hands, place your thumbs under the clear mold, and use your other fingers to push the handle down into the mold. If you push evenly all around, there's pop sound, and the seal is totally leak proof.

To take them out of the mold, just run it under some water for a second or two. it slides out every time.

I read the bad reviews, and I should have heeded their warnings. These things don't work at all. The popsicle handle just pulls right out of the popsicle, leaving it in the mold. My kids tried eating it with a spoon, but it was wildly disappointing. We're returning them.

I wanted a nice small ice pop mold for my kids under age four. I think the handle is easy for my youngest to hold. She was just 9 months when I was giving her frozen pureed watermelon in these. But they are terribly difficult to unmold. I have to sit them in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes.
