I have to say I'm not sure how effective these would be if used alone, but they are great to use as a pre-wipe before applying the regular Preparation H gel, which is what I use them for. I thought I would never have to use any Preparation H product, or at least not until I got a lot older, but my job for the last couple of years requires an abnormal amount of sitting, and as a consequence, without going into detail, I now use Preparation H products, including these wipes. As soon as I became aware of the situation, I immediately took action, my "problem" has gone away, and I use these wipes along with the gel once a day right before bedtime to make sure the problem stays gone, and it's been working.

The product promotional stuff implies that these wipes will help cure or relieve pain from hemorrhoidal issues. Not so. Although convenient and very good at carefully cleaning the area, these wipes are nothing more than baby wipes with the soothing aloe and the slightly astringent witch hazel added. That's not really the kind of medication folks are expecting from the name Preparation H. You can save a little money by buying cheaper wipes and a bottle of witch hazel. I just pour about 2 tablespoons of witch hazel into a pack of small wipes.

This is the best product that I have ever used for "roids" - much better than the creams. I really wish they would sell it in Canada.
