I have to say I'm not sure how effective these would be if used alone, but they are great to use as a pre-wipe before applying the regular Preparation H gel, which is what I use them for. I thought I would never have to use any Preparation H product, or at least not until I got a lot older, but my job for the last couple of years requires an abnormal amount of sitting, and as a consequence, without going into detail, I now use Preparation H products, including these wipes. As soon as I became aware of the situation, I immediately took action, my "problem" has gone away, and I use these wipes along with the gel once a day right before bedtime to make sure the problem stays gone, and it's been working.

The product promotional stuff implies that these wipes will help cure or relieve pain from hemorrhoidal issues. Not so. Although convenient and very good at carefully cleaning the area, these wipes are nothing more than baby wipes with the soothing aloe and the slightly astringent witch hazel added. That's not really the kind of medication folks are expecting from the name Preparation H. You can save a little money by buying cheaper wipes and a bottle of witch hazel. I just pour about 2 tablespoons of witch hazel into a pack of small wipes.

This is the best product that I have ever used for "roids" - much better than the creams. I really wish they would sell it in Canada.

I use these every day, and don't mind using them at all. They're non-irritating and have witch hazel and aloe, so they're very soothing. I buy the 4-pack and throw a pack in my luggage, one in each bathroom and one in the closet, so I never run out. These keep you clean, and don't have alcohol so they don't sting! I definitely recommend these over baby wipes, especially if you have a hemorrhoid.

For those of you with sensitive bottoms, using these wipes longer term will work. Other reviewers have made comments to the contrary, but personally, these have helped me and have relieved all external skin sensitivity in that sensitive region. Hemorrhoids stay away. If you have internal hemorrhoids I don't see how apply this product would help, but for external this product is worth it. Carry them everywhere I go. Use as regular wipe if necessary. Amazon has subscriptions now, and you'll save money by purchasing these refills in bulk and placing them on a schedule. Don't bother with carrying these from CVS, Rite Aid or other; that's heavy and expensive.

If your butt hurts when you wipe, try these. I could barely touch toilet paper to my butt about a year ago. I tried these and my butt was better in a couple of weeks and hasn't bothered me since.

WE USE THESE OFTEN, THEY ARE GENTLE AND REFRESHING. THE TOPS WERE CRACKED OFF ON THESE AND THE WIPES WERE DRIED OUT IN SOME CASES.

HOPE THESE ARE RE EVALUATED AND PUT BACK ON THE SITE AS I DO NOT SEE THEM HERE.

I gave this to my father who's been suffering from internal hemorrhoids for years.

After a month of use, he concluded that this product did NOT help at all, except to moist the area like some baby wipe. No cooling, no numbing, no whatsoever.

This might prove helpful for some MILD external hemorrhoids patients, but not for anyone seriously suffering.
