5.0 out of 5 stars Matthew Backholer has written a very practical, no non-sense short-term missions handbook., May 7, 2010
This review is from: How to Plan, Prepare and Successfully Complete Your Short-Term Mission - For Volunteers, Churches, Independent STM Teams and Mission Organisations. Th (Paperback)
It is a must read book if you are planning a short-term trip. God is moving in other places of the world. Short-term mission trips are a wonderful way to get involved. But before you set out you need to plan well so you can avoid mishaps. Even if you've been on many short-term mission trips, you can't always think of everything. It's good to have a book like this to help you prepare. Of course, you want to throw this book in your bag so you have it with you. Matthew Backholer has written a very practical, no non-sense short-term missions handbook. This book is chalk full of common sense ideas to help you out. What you learn will enable to make intelligent choices and reach good decisions in a foreign country.
