This review is from: Preparing for Peace: Conflict Transformation Across Cultures (Syracuse Studies on Peace and Conflict Resolution) (Paperback)
I was looking for a guide on successful methods to negotiate conflict between different cultures, for example when westerners need to negotiate with middle easteners. This is not that. This is a somewhat scholarly work meant for those who train people how to negotiate conflict when the trainer and the trainee are from different cultures. Eg. when a Norde Americano is trying to teach South Americans to negotiate in their own hispanic culture. It teaches the teacher how to see relationships from the trainees culture's point of view in order to be able to reach them effectively and give them negotiation skills in their culture. If that's what you want, it should be useful.
