This book goes way beyond just the sample questions of other test prep books! It gives an inside look at what the examiners are looking for as well as the most common mistakes students make. It provides a place in each section that the student fills out in order to remember regionally-specific criteria.

It also lists the supplies needed for each part of the exam.

It even goes over how to diminish test anxiety!

This is the text book used when preparing for the practical cosmetology exam. My daughter's hairdressers licence had expire. She is now selling a line of skin care products which includes a full line of makeup. In order to demonstrate the full range of these products a cosmetology licence is required.

This book is an excellent book for helping someone to pass the stateboard exam. I did pass after reading this book. Do not regret this purchase.
