Go to www.SurvivalFamilyBasics.com to reserve your FREE copy now.

The last thing any parent ever wants to have to do is drag their children from the safety and security of their home into a hostile environment. But when a disaster strikes, this is exactly what may be required in order to keep your family safe from harm. “Survival Family Basics - The Prepper Survival Guide to Bugging Out When You Absolutely Positively Can't Stay There Any Longer” is here to help you do just that – keep your family safe on the move.

It is an unfortunate fact that no matter where you live, there is always the possibility that some kind of crisis will render your home or the area where you live unsafe. In these situations you may have no other alternative than to “get out of Dodge!”

The need to bug-out creates a greater logistical challenge than any other prepping scenario and for families, the stakes are even higher. While you might be able to go without food for a few days or be willing to risk drinking water that might make you sick, you probably aren’t willing to put your kids in the same situation.

Here are some of the things you will learn…

• How to pick a bug out location
• What kind of transportation options you need to consider when making your bug out plan
• Who in your family needs a bug out bag
• What to do when you are bugging out with small children
• The basic ingredients needed to build your bug-out bag
• Information on the special considerations you need to factor in when you are bugging out with your entire family

From deciding your bug-out destination to creating an inventory system for your bug-out bag, this book provides you with the information and insight you need to get your family and your gear out of the house and on the move as quickly as possible when disaster strikes!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Perspective on an Important Topic March 24, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
With the popularity of the prepper movement, there is no shortage of survival related books and a large percentage of those books regurgitate the same information in a singularly unimaginative manner. This book is an exception to that rule. It latches onto a specific perspective - prepping a family - and offers practical, thoughtful, and creative advice.

Thank you for making this book available for the free giveaway!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Thought Initiator June 23, 2014
By David
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you have kids or pets this is a good book to read. Not that the zombies are at the door or rapidly approaching the farm or anything, but it is good stuff to think about in advance. One of the key items in this book is to really stop and put on your thinking cap about what you would do if push came to shove, and as an adult looking out for kids, you did not have the option about pushing back to the degree you would were there safety not an issue.

3.0 out of 5 stars usual stuff April 19, 2014
By K-Z
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Decent. Nothing profound or ground breaking.

Short and bare bones. If you have any general knowledge of prepping or bugging out, look for something more in depth.

Don't get me wrong, he put a good perspective and spin on the usual stuff, but its all been said before.

But I guess in the sense practice makes perfect, so does repetition and retention.

Good luck.

2.0 out of 5 stars You can get this info off any bug out website. January 19, 2015
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
You can get this info off any bug out/bug out bag website. As with many Kindle "books" (should be called a "pamphlet" (on prepping or bugging out, they are only a couple of chapters worth of knowledge. This is very basic - "have a bug out location", "have a backup bug out location". duh.
The only distinctive aspect of this "book" is that it adds info for small children. And it has a reasonable suggestion on bugging out - don't plan on bugging out to the woods as your first choice! Choose a relative or two first. (surprisingly, no one else is saying this!).

4.0 out of 5 stars succinct and sensible December 29, 2014

This book has a good layout of information that you can read inside an hour. Get the right things done in the right order without panic or hype. Definitely basic but as far as I can tell from a quick read through it seems like a great starting point or to minimally cya.
