Runs great
Runs great if you upgrade the RAM from the 256MB (supplied) to 512 or more. I added 512 MB to mine resulting in 768 MB. Easy to set-up and upgrade. If you buy one, make sure to download updated video driver from Compaq.

Get the 1720NX instead
I am returning it for the 1720NX model due to the fact it only has 256 MB RAM. I didn't know how important RAM was until I tried to run a 3-D game. You can always expand the RAM, but the 1720NX is only $60 more (at one store) and has 512 RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, and a DVD writer with lightscribe technology. Worth the $60? Yeah, I would say so. Why compaq made this model...

Why compaq made this model I have no clue, since they have a better model that runs for less that $100 more at most stores.
