A great book. Every Presbyterian church officer should read it. I recommend it to every Presbyterian to help understand the organizational rules, history and civility of the system at Presbyterian churches in the U.S.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must for church libraries, December 24, 2011

Good book for teaching new Deacons and Elders - easy to read and review. Church officers need to understand how the Presbyterian government works and this book, along with the Book of Order, should be given to each officer at the begining of their term of service.
