I purchased this book because it received a Teacher's Choice Award from Learning Magazine. I am impressed! It contains many ideas that can be easily implemented into daily routines. I'm not impressed.
This book does have some useful ideas, and could be referred to in certain circumstances, but a lot of it is commmon sense, and it feels a little repetitive. I was expecting well written chapters on management, with maybe an appendix at the end with specific incidences that could be refered to. Instead every page is on something different. This book does have some useful ideas, and could be referred to in certain circumstances, but a lot of it is commmon sense, and it feels a little repetitive.
I was expecting well written chapters on management, with maybe an appendix at the end with specific incidences that could be refered to. Instead every page is on something different. It's organized in bullets and covers a lot throughout the book, but is not too helpful because it doesn't go in depth on any subject. It's an okay book, but I don't think I got my money's worth. |
