PRESCRIPTION FOR ANGER really is the best book on anger I have ever read! Everyone should read it! PRESCRIPTION FOR ANGER is a clean, concise and comprehensive guide to help everyone understand, appreciate and manage their anger. Being told about anger is one thing. Receiving tools to help learn how to keep from being consumed by it is quite a gift! I am actually using some of the Hankins' techniques in my own life, and THEY WORK! Great as a general overview text,

I have taught conflict resolution and anger management for several years. This text can serve as an excellent resource for professionals and for those who simply need to understand what makes them tick! Some of the self-awareness techniques, such as the "fishbowl" are not very well explained and often lack depth, but still remain useful to the novice. However, the book contains excellent resources for understanding personality differences and effectively resurrects Eric Berne's Transactional Analysis concepts.It is easy to read and should be on the bedside table of anyone coping with anger or personality conflict.
