I became interested in the book due to personal reasons. I can say that Ewing's life really turned when his second wife Muriel McBrien Kauffman walked into his life. Muriel had charisma, style, intelligence, grace and a zeal for life that Ewing fell head over heels with. The book depicts the starting of Ewing's business and where he fostered his savvy business sense, it's no doubt he ensured that Muriel would play a prominent role in his life.

This book is a great read, it depicts a true side of a very sensitive and intelligent hard working man with a plan and a vision to succeed. Ewing's heart showed all the signs of a caring and courageous man that would stand up and believe in a systematic approach to the way he thought things should be. The core values that Ewing exudes in this book is instrumental in life and it's my opinion that anyone reading this book will concur.
