THE Best UB-40 Album Ever!,
By TROY L BLALOCK (So. Cal) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Present Arms (Audio CD)
I first discovered UB-40 in 1981 well before they reached their fame. This album is by far their best effort ever, done before they became "educated" in music and started all of their cover versions of other peoples songs. I remember introducing the music of UB-40 to many, many people, and to this day, this album ranks among the top 10 of all time for all of us that came from the early 80's cutting edge generation of music!

An Amazing CD!,
By Scott Bucklin (Dallas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Present Arms (Audio CD)
Ive listened to the music on this CD since it was on vinyl and it's one of my favorite recordings of all time. THIS IS VINTAGE UB40 before they were a huge success and I've heard it was recorded using only 8 tracks which is amazing! There's an incredible magic here. Check it out!!!!

Classic UB40 Album,
By Graham (Liverpool, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Present Arms (Audio CD)
Present Arms is probably the definitive UB40 album, released at a time before they were so commercial and popular. Tracks such as Sardonicus, Don't Let it Pass You By and Lambs Bread are pure class. A must for any album collection.
