I'm really shocked that anyone would give this more than a 1 star review. Sure, the design looks bright and cute but the clock construction is cheap. The hands were so far out of alignment that the second hand gets stuck on the minute hand. The eyes weren't working first time out of the box. I went to the companie's website to see if I could call someone. Maybe this was a return etc? They don't list any kind of support on their site and no one picked up the sales number during business hours. I would not recommend this to anyone and I am returning it tomorrow.

We bought the cat one for our son's room. Love how it looks but the eyes stopped working within a year. My husband fiddled around with it and got it to work again but that was short-lived. Despite that, the clock itself still works so we haven't replaced it. We're still willing to buy another one for our friend's kids, hoping ours was a fluke. And I agree with other reviewers that since there are numbers missing, it's a little difficult to teach the kid how to tell time.

This is a great clock in terms of overall design and quality; however, the numbers are white and hard to see for adults and kids alike, and a few of the numbers are missing due to the placement of the frog (I guess I didn't notice this in the image). Too bad since I was hoping I could teach my preschooler time with this clock. We still love it in our playroom, though, since it's colorful and whimsical.

Really like this clock, they eye's move (didn't know this when I bought it). Very well built & keeps perfect time, it looks great in our nursery.

I own two of these clocks, the cat and the ladybug. I've had the latter for almost a year and it still works perfectly. It has the same AA battery in it, so it does not appear to be a huge battery drainer despite the moving eyes needing to be powered. These clocks would be great for a child's room, I imagine. But they are cool enough to be fun for a den or similar in a house without children too! Overall, the quality is very high.

The first goldfish clock I received, the hour hand was broken. It was just limp and wouldn't move. I ordered a replacement and this one the eyes are broken and do not move; this one is going back as well.

I wish it worked as it looks great in the nursery. I understand that other reviewers state that it keeps accurate time, but knowing that two came delivered defective warrants the two out of 5 stars.

Purchased this product after my husband saw it in a TV commercial and liked it. I was surprised that for the price of $37 it was cheaply made. I have bought nicer clocks for half that money in the past. The hour hand was laying back against the face of the clock and would not work before I even got it out of the box. I sent it back and asked for a refund because I definitely did not want another one. What a disappointment!!!!

having trouble finding ladybug items for a friend, i was thrilled that amazon offered this item...she loved it...except for 1 thing...when she went to hang it up, the 2nd hand popped off...although the clock is functional, i would have preferred that it stay in just 1 piece...

Very cute. Keeps accurate time. First one I purchased was defective but the replacement works great.

These clocks are Swiss made and are very well made. I bought the fish and the lady bug. They are super cute and keep time well. My son who is 3 loves to watch the clocks eyes and is trying to figure out the time. What a great way to introduce telling time to him with this clock. The 36.95 is a good price as in Hawaii the clocks go for 42.00 or higher. The only thing I would say was a bummer is that Amazon does not carry the dog clock or the deer clock. It would have been nice to have the chance to buy the dog clock which is really cute too. Highly recommend.
