4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect look at one of the world's finest., April 18, 2000
This review is from: Presenting Chris Crutcher (Twayne's United States Authors Series) (Hardcover)
Chris Crutcher is The Man, let me tell you now.

All of his works, even though they SAY fit in the young adult literature sections of libraries and bookstores, are really stories for everyone, young and old.

Crutcher writes with wisdom and wit and words that make you feel wonder at the world.

"Presenting Chris Crutcher" attempts to go into depth, both into the author's life, and into his books. However, it does not allow a very deep look for the reader, and left this one desiring more. But then, I practically inhale every little detail I can about the books; nothing will ever sustain me for long.

It's not perfect. But it's nice to know that CC is big enough to warrant being the subject of his own book.
