This text seemed to me to be a well organized, logical presentation of service of food and beverages. Some of the pictures seem dated, but they got their point across. I wish this was a hardcover book though. I do wish there had been a chapter devoted to setting tables in various manners and napkin folding.

There was a lot of high lighting all over the book. So I am now stuck with the book after the class is over. I really wish they would have put that on their, I would have pasted on the book yes, but it would have helped on their rating. Other than that everything was good.

Presenting Service (2nd Edition) is a concise guide on different types of service. Great explanations! If you are involved in service arts this book ought to be in your library.

This book was useless for the class that I was in....we had lots of work to do out of it but she never whent through it with us, so we were confused most of the time...lol...So if you have to read it I feel sorry for you, and If its an option, than its is not worth the money.

This book is filled with a lot of information. At times it covered to much that You would get lost. It covers the history of the beginning of foodservice.
