Psych Gem From 1968 With Heart Connections, August 19, 2008
This review is from: Presents Chocolate Moose (Audio CD)
Originally released on Bell Records, this little psych treasure was reissued by Radioactive Records. Why? Two principal reasons. (1) Howard Leese (later of Heart) is on lead guitar and (2) Zoo captures the sound of the late 60s, crossing Strawberry Alarm Clock pop tracks like Have You Been Sleepin' and Get Some Beads with harder rockers like the title track. Leese has captured the SF sound of Quicksilver perfectly making this for a fun listen. Recommended: PS

Track ordering is incorrect., April 22, 2011
This review is from: Presents Chocolate Moose (Audio CD)
When I ripped this CD to my computer, I had a problem with track ordering. The order of the tracks on the CD is not the order of the tracks as listed on the record album, which my music program applied to the tracks (so I got tracks with the wrong names and order).
The tracks, on the CD I purchased through this page, should be labeled as follows:
1 - Chocolate Moose
2 - Written on the Wind
3 - I've Been Waiting Too Long
4 - Soul Drippin's
5 - Get Me Some Beads
6 - Ain't Nobody
7 - (track 8 on the original) Try Me
8 - (track 9 on the original) Love Machine
10 - (track 7 on the original) Have You Been Sleepin'
11 - From A Camels Hump
