Beautiful female vocals,

Being a long-time Frente fan who has been ho-humming round the house ever since their break-up, the emergence of Waikiki has been a fantastic fresh new ingredient into my music diet. I saw them debut these songs at Homebake 2000, and fell in love with "Frail" on the Homebake promo CD. So went and dug this EP up at an indie CD store, rushed home, played it over and over. Juanita Stein's voice is buttermilk smooth, I melt. Only 5 tracks though. Enough to whet the appetite, but not enough to satisfy the craving! Yet another lovely jewel to emerge from the Aussie indie scene. Highly recommend their album "I'm Already Home", released in Australia in Sept 2002. Watch this band in future!
