Format: Paperback
Finally, someone takes an accessible-to-the-masses approach to reporting on the tragic saga of Samuel Tilden, America's most consistently screwed over presidential candidate. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to see justice done in his name.

That said, if you're at all interested in other bizarre yet noteworthy episodes in presidential history, pick up Mr. Ragone's book. It's also almost as good as Dianetics.

Format: Paperback
Nick Ragone brilliantly captures the history-making stories and little known facts that make the presidency fascinating. From quirky White House pets to monumental moves to the characters surrounding the powerful office, this book entertains (and educates) from start to finish. Timed perfectly for an election year and beyond . . . one for the "most wanted" list.

I thought I knew our government's history was a little shady but had no idea how far back that history went! Election secrets, scandals and disasters, OH MY! My favorite part was the after careers of the presidents ... interesting read!
