Free Sam Tilden.,
This review is from: Presidents' Most Wanted™: The Top 10 Book of Extraordinary Executives, Colorful Campaigns, and White House Oddities (Most Wanted™ Series) (Paperback)
Finally, someone takes an accessible-to-the-masses approach to reporting on the tragic saga of Samuel Tilden, America's most consistently screwed over presidential candidate. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to see justice done in his name.
That said, if you're at all interested in other bizarre yet noteworthy episodes in presidential history, pick up Mr. Ragone's book. It's also almost as good as Dianetics.

This review is from: Presidents' Most Wanted™: The Top 10 Book of Extraordinary Executives, Colorful Campaigns, and White House Oddities (Most Wanted™ Series) (Paperback)
Nick Ragone brilliantly captures the history-making stories and little known facts that make the presidency fascinating. From quirky White House pets to monumental moves to the characters surrounding the powerful office, this book entertains (and educates) from start to finish. Timed perfectly for an election year and beyond . . . one for the "most wanted" list.
