I bought this iron for an upcoming international trip, as I wanted a small, dual voltage iron. This fits the bill. It is not world's best iron. Firstly, it is small, so you have to make more passes over the clothing just to reach every bit of fabric. Secondly, there is only a small row of steam holes at the top of the iron's soleplate. This is pictured in the product photos. I am used to a full size iron with steam holes all over the soleplate, so this takes some getting used to. I did have to pass over the fabric several times to smooth out wrinkles, versus once or twice with a regular, full sized iron. No problems with water dripping. I read the directions...never done that for an iron before. It tells you that the iron will leak if you do not have it on the hottest setting. If you follow the directions, leaking is not a problem at all. Overall, a decent little iron, not one you would want for everyday use, but perfect for travel.

I love this Conair Travel Steam Iron!! I own a full size Rowenta at home and it doesn't work as well as this little one. I bought it because I make doll clothes and needed a small iron. I really didn't expect much from it. Was I ever surprised!!! This little iron gives a blast of steam that takes out the most stubborn wrinkles and lays a seam flat in an instant (even when sewing denim)! And even though it's little, the water in the reservoir lasts a good long time (unlike my Rowenta). I highly recommend this little iron and you can't go wrong with the price either.

Bought 2 of these and will soon be buying more to have on hand. It heats up quickly and has good steam. Great for traveling to quilt meetings or classes. Good for use in sewing room if you have limited space.

The iron is a good size and seems well made but it doesn't get hot enough to press anything. Ill end up replacing it with an iron that actually works.

Took to quilt retreat, perfect size for piecing half square triangles. Was also perfect size for small tray table ironing board. Heated fast and with pointed tip, easy to get onto small seams without burning my fingers.
Just love it! Highly recommend for quilters.

This is an excellent dual voltage iron. Most travel size irons hold a small amount of water, but it's no problem. It's light weight and get's the job done.

Most of my ironing - or "pressing" as we quilters call it - is done on medium to small pieces of fabric. Big, super hot irons are overkill, not to mention clumsy. This iron is perfect for my needs. I find dry pressing sufficient for most things, but this steams nicely when needed. Plus its small and light enough to travel easily to quilt retreats and such. And at 800 watts, its not a big energy sucker.

I have gone through several Rowenta travel irons in my quilting. Each one of them, without fail, has stopped working. Either the handle snapped or it burned up (yes, burned up). I got this iron as a replacement for the LAST Rowenta that broke. I will NEVER buy anything else. Aside from the very affordable price, the iron is a dream. No chance of the handle collapsing as it is integrated. It heats up quickly and is very lightweight. I use it every day and love it love it love it.
