I bought this game expecting big things. I was disappointed. No, I was THOROUGHLY disappointed.
What I was expecting out of the box was a game with a full LCD screen--too much to hope for a $20 toy, I know, and that's on me--with the classic board layout in a square around the edge, with squares that actually lit up. The photo they provided would seem to support that. Not so. What I actually got out of the box was an LED display with two rows--not a square, but ROWS--of squares to represent the Big Board, the "lit" square represented by an arrow appearing momentarily next to each square. The music is sub-MIDI quality--again, $20 toy--and worst of all, you're playing by yourself with no opponents and therefore without any risk. The game's trivia questions, while current, are clearly skewed towards teens and those obsessed with pop stars. There's very little general-knowledge trivia and that disappoints. On the plus side, the game DOES include Whammy animations that pop up whenever you land on one of the little tricksters. All in all, I'd strongly urge anyone considering this to just go with the DVD game.

First, Thank you for such prompt service I received the game sooner than expected. It is really fun to play. It was well worth the money especially if you like playing handheld games. My only regret is that I only bought one and I now have to share. Overall I rate this game 5 star on easy to play, for entertainment, and durability.

This game is one of the worst games I ever
bought. The Whammy's are too small to really see them. It was put together poorly. And is just not A good game to play for. A long time because the screen is soo small. But the questions they ask to score spins is some what educationally though.

It is nice to be able to enjoy a handheld version of a great Game Show. I loved watching Press Your Luck on Television,so did my Mother so I purchased it for her and two of my Sisters for Christmas. I bought 2 last year for Christmas presents and one of my sisters played my Mothers on a car trip and told my Mother to tell me that I could get her one for Christmas ,so I did.

The little Wammy guy tried to touch me where the bathing suit covers. I was scared at first but then grew to like it.

"Press Your Luck" may be one of the greatest game shows of all-time, but they finally made a hand-held game about it. What they do is you answer pop-culture questions. A bell means you get 3 or 1 spins within the center of the screen, but a buzzer means you don't get any. I like the game play, but the board is on top & bottom instead of the board you know from the show. The whammies are animated like the show, but they need more to make it nostalgic. The theme is a bit short like the intro, but it's MIDI-related. The SFX are okay like the show, but it's get a little annoying. I suggest you get it and see if you like it.
