This Pressman chess set is exactly what you'd expect: light, hollow plastic pieces and a stiff paper game board. If that's what you're looking for, perhaps as a spare chess set or a set to take to work, for example, you'll be happy with this chess set.

This board is about the thickness of cereal box cardboard. Very warped and will not straighten, not even with an iron - totally useless - do not buy unless you just want the classic cheap pieces.

Chess set is inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting much. The pieces are hollow plastic, but ok. The board is such thin cardboard, that it was already warped upon arrival. I purchased a similar set at a dollar store, and the board was about 3 times thicker, and never a problem. I guess if you only have a few dollars, this will work. But there are other inexpensive sets of better quality.
