This set of checkers is cheap-- both in price and quality. Of course, when paying such a small amount, one really cannot expect the best quality-- it is already hard to see how the manufacturer is making any money on these. But, in my set, the checkers didn't always fit together nicely which is something I look for in a set of checkers. They do the job, but personally I wish that I had opted for a set that cost a bit more and was of higher quality.

By the way, do not be fooled like I was by the Amazon name of this product, "Checkers, Checkers only". I was searching for a Checkers game, and many of the results had *other* games in the set (like Chess, Backgammon, etc.) When I saw this product I thought it meant that this game was Checkers only (i.e. no Chess, etc.). But, this really is Checkers ONLY-- this is a box of replacement checkers and does not include a board. Perhaps a better name for this product would be "Checkers (replacement Checkers)" or something like that. Or, perhaps I just suffered from a brain outage on the day I bought my set... It happens.

These checkers are fine for what I wanted -- to fit an existing checkers board. I had hoped for something a little bit more solid-feeling but they are really quite acceptable.
