5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality
The dominoes came in a sturdy aluminum box. Fortunately it didn't have any noticable dings. The pieces themselves are really good quality. The color dots are all nicely painted with no smearing on any of them, unlike a cheaper set I had bought from Target. Spend a little more but get great quality.

2.0 out of 5 stars Mfr changed product--beware!
I bought this exact same item about a year ago. Liked it so much that I gave it away as a present to family. Very disappointed when I ordered same set again--this time tiles arrived lightweight, color dots look cheap. Too bad that manufacturer changed what was a great product. Must think we don't notice or expect a product billed as high quality would actually be high...

I purchased this set around Christmas for my fiance. He has always loved Dominoes and this was on top of his list as he is being deployed to Afghanistan. Soldiers really love simple games like these. The metal case they dominoes came in was really great, dominoes are thick and heavy, very durable and won't chip or fade easy. HEAVY heavy box. Great product, very happy!

The sturdiness and quality of the domino is very good. Should last many years with regular use. One thing I would add though, there is a version of domino that uses numbers rather than dots to designate values. This is not a bad idea since it is a little difficult to differentiate the value of a domino when there are 10-12 little dots on the domino. Especially after a few beers or glasses of wine.

We play this game ofton when we get together with family and friends. This set is better then most, but the dots are not as big and bright as the set my brother has. Need to have good lighting to use this set.

If you are looking for thick, sturdy, well made dominoes, stay away from these. They are thinnest, lightest, most cheaply made dominoes I have ever seen. I am highly disappointed. These dominoes are junk and would be sent back if the return shipping wasn't so high.

We bought two sets of these dominoes, one for each of our nieces. They both loved the dominoes and played with them more than anything else they got for Christmas. At 3 years, they aren't quite into actually playing for score, but they can count the dots, and the different colors makes matching games easy for them. They also like to build with them and generally just arrange them on the floor. They are quite durable and seem like they will last a long time. These sets were a great value.

I bought this game for our boat to play on rainy days. It got more use than I expected - many nights we play after dinner. The tin is a great container and holds the Dominos tightly. The dominos themselves are lighter than our old ones. The weight is what keeps this from being a 4 star review. The colors are good and the dots are a decent size. Both the adults and children enjoy the game and have played it many times. I would recommend this set for family use. The kids certainly learn their numbers and colors using it.

My only complaint is that the metal box this came in arrived fairly badly damaged, and the seller could not insure replacement before Christmas. Other tha that, exactly what I expected.
