3.0 out of 5 stars Not for hardcore fans, July 26, 2008

This is a fun Office-themed party game, but if you're a hardcore fan or even regular viewer you'll most likely find the questions too easy. The DVD is well-produced and has some funny moments in addition to Toby's mopey narration, but the game board is rather unexciting and the game pieces are just cardboard cutouts.

Not bad, but if you're looking for trivia, keep on walkin'.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a wonderful game, January 13, 2009
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars

We were very excited when we received the Office game as a gift. My husband and I are both huge fans and we thought it would be a great game for the 2 of us to play as well as a wonderful game to play with our friends, who also watch the show regularly. We were disappointed when we played the game however because it is very poorly made. There are only a few clips and they are constantly repeated and very few have anything to do with the questions. We were expecting it to be like Scene it where there is a clip and you have to discuss something in it or identify a quote or something of that sort but it would show a clip and then ask an irrelevant question. The idea of this game is great and there is so much potential but this is just not living up to it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Somewhat of a disappointment to this Office fan, December 28, 2008
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Office DVD Game (Toy)
As a die-hard Office fan, I was very excited to get this game. However, after playing this game for a short while, it didn't take long for my excitement to turn to disappointment. The game basically consists of random trivia questions, some of which are actually based on the show's episodes and some that are indirectly related. For example, the game shows a clip one of Pam's talking heads from Season 4 where she's figured out that Michael is quoting from the movie "Million Dollar Baby." Then you're asked the question "Who directed 'Million Dollar Baby'?" The answer to this question is not something you would know by watching the show, but rather by being familiar with the movie.

There are some fun things about this, but perhaps my expectations were set too high. A significant frustration is the discussion by Toby after you answer a question, which just seems to take too long. In addition, if you answer a question incorrectly, you don't get to find out what the correct answer is.
