5.0 out of 5 stars I spent many an hour enjoying Hi-Q
This game is listed as being for those 10 and up, but I recall playing and enjoing this game earlier than that. This game certainly isn't the same kind of fun as a video game...and shouldn't be compared to that kind of activity. Hi-Q is more of a thinking game...

3.0 out of 5 stars Think & Jump
Hi:

I would say it is OK. I came very
close to winning the target
objective of the game but no matter
how many times I played I always had 2
left instead of 1 peg left.

That being said, I think I have decent
enough strategy to win. Yet I personally
do not feel challenged by the game.

You jump one peg into an open spot and remove the peg you jumped. How few pegs can you end up with at the end of the round? It's a personal challenge to get down to one peg, and then to one peg in the spot of your choice.

I highly recommend this game for the thoughtful youngster or the adult with a few minutes to kill. One great thing about Hi-Q is that you can play a round in five minutes or less.

Top-notch product with timeless appeal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value and Educational to Boot!, July 19, 2000

This is the same game that I remember as a child but improved with a cover that snaps closed for storage of the pieces. Durability is only four stars because of the number of pegs. There are no extra pegs, so beware. If you conquer the original game, there are a few variations listed on the inside box cover to keep you entertained. My two children ages 6 and 8 love to play this game while watching TV. Great educational value.

Warning--there are small parts which pose a choking hazard for small children and babies.

Would be a great game for any elementary school classroom.

Too bad there is not an electronic version because the part I hate the most is setting up the board to start a new game.

As a child, I loved playing a game known as "Hi-Q". "Think & Jump" is the same game. I purchased it for my 9-year-old to take when we go places in the car. It's the perfect size and everything fits into the case so it's easy to transport. It's not as "exciting" as his video games but I don't really care!

It is interesting but not very
challenging although if you need
to have a "time killer" having
this is better than not having
it at all.

However, I would try something else.
This would not be my first choice.

It's played the same as Hi-Q, but this game is configured differently than the + configuration of Hi-Q, which was easier. Great for people like me who just can't sit and watch TV but need to do something else.

Wow, I finally found one. I played this game as a kid, some 40 years ago. Have long lost mine. It is a great little game. You can spend hours playing. Anyone ever really win????
