5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for many ages, similar to Taboo
This game is similar to Taboo, but just a bit simpler so kids of all ages can enjoy it. The challenge is to get the other person to guess your word without using the three words most commonly associated with it. (For example, you try to get someone to guess the word "chicken" without using the words "egg," "feathers," or "coop."

Lots of fun!

I am very happy with my purchase. I had actually played the game on a recent "girl's weekend" and it was so much fun, I just had to have my own game. As soon as I received it, we played it as a family, and my teenage sons loved it!!!! Very entertaining. The game was shipped very fast, within days...thank you. Came to me in EXCELLENT/NEW condition. Thank You....I love my purchase, and plan to play it again this weekend when we have a family get together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute, but annoying., July 23, 2011

The cards in this game are set up similar to the Taboo game. The card holder can be adjusted so that younger children only have a couple of words they can't use and adults have more forbidden words. There are also different colors for different levels of difficulty. These seemed only somewhat accurate so far as difficulty level correlating to the appropriate color. The buzzer in the game is HORRIBLE. It beeps as your time begins to run out and then beeps faster and faster and does this horrible buzz when the time is up. For younger kids, the beeping is really a distractor/stressor (and for some adults too!!). Once the buzzer's been pushed, you have to wait it out and go through all the beeps--it can't be turned off. Again, VERY annoying.

Got this game for Christmas and had the whole family playing it that day. Even level 1 can be quite challenging for any age. Younger children do require some assistance but the whole concept is very fun.

My eight year daughter is perfect for this game. when we play as a family, one of us has to take our 6 year old daughter aside to coach her because she can not read all of the words yet. Very good game and you could play anywere, even on long car rides, airport etc.

"Don't Say It" can be quite difficult to start. Gets kids thinking of other descriptive works to describe what you're trying to say without saying the taboo words. They game can be played on different levels with up to 4 taboo words.

This game is a wonderful vocabulary learning tool and teaches quick and innovative thinking skills. Both my 8-year old and 11-year-old can play together.

My kids enjoy this game, and it's an excellent language and vocabulary builder. I've played this and TAboo. It's a cheaper cousin of that game, but adequate for young kids. If you want the more sophisticated game, go with TAboo, but this works well for children (who can read) between the ages of 6-10.
