I first saw this game in the 80's when another kid brought it to school once.It stayed somewhere in my mind as a game I wanted to have one day, "when I grew up." So now that I am a passable version of an adult, I bought it and it is still as fun with other pretend grownups as I remember it being as a child. Being 4 player, it allows alliances and treachery, immediate attacks to the players to your side, more action due to double the number of rooks and knights on each team, PLUS having two more players, some piece is constantly getting killed. Plus there is a new "Spy" piece. I only wish there was a premium edition of this game with a higher end board and some finer pieces. But I guess I could always have one made. Definitely a great family board game. |
