We purchased a Deluxe Wheel of Fortune game as an educational tool for children 6 years to 10 years of age. It's a game that even the youngest children can play with small adaptations. We made up our own puzzles according to what we were studying in class. Even the non-readers get into spinning the wheel and guessing letters, whether they know what the letters spell or not. They love accumulating points, and our adaptations included not losing all of their points on a bankruptcy landing, only the points they received on their last play. Older students loved trying to solve the puzzles and taking chances on one last spin, which sometimes went in their favor and sometimes did not. The best part about the deluxe game is the "real" wheel for them to spin. Everyone loved it. We highly recommend this game for families, classes, fellowship groups and youth groups.

If you like wheel of fortune then you will like this game. We had so much fun playing it. Also educational. The kids are curious about the puzzles. Such as, what was the Alamo? or Where is that country? Then we do the research to find the answers if we don't already know and discuss the subject with the kids. The game seems durable enough if you treat with a little TLC and the wheel is very nice but the spin is a little bit stiff, also the wheel is not very heavy, so it's best to hold it when spinning or place on nonskid surface. Not a deal breaker though. The game is fun and worth the money paid.

Back in the 70's my Grandmother had a Wheel board game that she brought every time she came for dinner. We had hours of fun playing it, so it must have been better constructed than this. The board for the letters is so hokey that a tile covering a letter could drop at any moment, or when you are manipulating another tile. Then when you have to move them they don't slide easily. The spinner gives you none of the suspense of the real Wheel. It does not slowly come to a stop, so you don't get that rush of will it land on Bankrupt, or before it. You give it a spin, and it stops almost immediately after you let go. No tick, tick, tick, tick, $5000! To anyone considering this, I would try one of the other versions of this game.
