The latest offering in The Downtown Academy split series pairs Oi! stalwarts PRESSURE POINT with up & comers MADHOSUE DISCIPLES. PRESSURE POINT has been a fixture of the American Oi! scene for over a decade. They've established themselves on the top of the genre with 4 CDs on GMM Records, an EP on TKO Records, appearances on the Hellcat Records' Give ÔEm The Boot compilations vol. 1 & 4, as well as countless 7"s and compilation CDs. They've shared the stage with the biggest names in punk, such as Rancid, Angelic Upstarts, One Way System, Agnostic Front, Anti-Heros, the Transplants, the Adicts and the Swingin' Utters. MADHOUSE DISCIPLES debuted in 2004, and have made quite a name for themselves in a short time. Their classic sound blends Oi! and rock & roll, like The Last Resort colliding head-first with the Rolling Stones. They've played a ton of shows with bands like Blitz, the Forgotten and Angel City Outcasts, and appeared on GMM Records' Skins & Pinz 3 compilation.
