Great replacement part
My original seal was worn out and losing pressure while cooking. Replacing with this seal, the pressure cooker works like new. I just wish that they use the nicer while / clear silica material instead of the matt black one. I bought two just in case I need to replace it down the road and to save on shipping.

Mirro M-0598-II
I recently purchased this part for a Mirro Model Number M-0598-11 8 Quart pressure cooker but it's too narrow. It fits in the cooker but is not thick enough to seal the cooker. This merchant offered to let me pay to send it back. Do the math.

This seal for my 8 yr old mirro pressure cooker came in great condition in a timely manner and works perfectly. I have had this product for a few weeks now but just last week I used my pressure cooker so I can verify it worked as designed.
