Be advised there is a new model of this tool available direct from Prestaflator. It has a better hose. Only problem with this device is the instructions are a bit unclear. Here's how to use it:
#1 Remove valve cover from valve.
#2 Unscrew the presta valve nut on the presta valve.
#3 SCREW ON the Prestaflator connector. Don't try pushing it on. And DON'T CRANK IT DOWN LIKE YOU LIFE DEPENDED ON IT NOT COMING OFF!!! Just gently screw it on till you feel it stop. Then STOP SCREWING.
#4 You can either push the sleeve on the Prestaflator forward to read the pressure level in the tube or start airing it up immediately. I usually start airing it up and as soon as you GENTLY squeeze the trigger you will get an air pressure reading if there is air in the tube. The key to filling up the ture is GENTLY squeezing the trigger. Don't clamp down on it or you will be filling the tube full force and it will probably blow. Gently squeeze the trigger and then RELEASE IMMEDIATELY. Don't try filling up the tube in one squeeze. This tool was made to fill the presta tube in small increments. Not all in one shot.
#5 The gauge IS accurate.

Overall this item cones off as an inexpensively made pot metal inflator for $40. ( if you don't believe me, take a look at comparable shrader valve inflators priced at a quarter as much.)When I received it and opened the box, some of the parts were loose in the box and fell out. I had to modify the unit to fit over my valve without completely deflating my tire and the gauge is the next thing to change. As I run tubeless, I am only running around 26 -28 lbs in my tires. As such I need a more detailed gauge in smaller increments. The unit works, but I think it could be made much better.

Update... The o-rings on the pressure release valve don't work well, the larger one shredding. I am going to try to rebuild it. I think i may be better off using an adaptor to put air in my tires with a traditional shrader chuck.

I returned this.

Attaching it to the valve was quite difficult, and removing it was even worse. I'd pull as hard as I could and when it finally released, I'd smash my hands on the hub. I even tried oiling it, but that didn't help either.

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the inflexible hose and the cheap build. The hose ended up in my rotor. It was like the $10 wal-mart schrader version for the car, only with a special hose.

I'm really bummed, because I wanted this to be awesome since it is the only presta tool I've seen on the market. I'm back to using the screw on adapter and using the car inflator, which isn't really that bad.
