This attractively shaped oval electric skillet has the capacity of a 15-inch round skillet and cooks breakfast, lunch, or dinner for six to eight people without requiring you to turn the stove on once. Equipped with a warming setting, this skillet also works as a buffet server to conveniently brown sweet and sour meatballs or grill appetizer-sized cheese sandwiches and serve right from the same pan. The heat control ranges from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (in 50-degree increments) and automatically maintains the proper heat setting so foods cook at the same rate as they would on the stove but in a more energy-efficient manner than a range or oven. Made of heavy cast aluminum, the skillet has a beautiful white-colored nonstick interior and exterior surface so meals won’t stick and clean-up is easy. The durable tempered glass cover shows what is being served at a buffet and lets you monitor cooking progress. The skillet rests on two plastic legs that won’t transfer heat from the pan. With the heat control removed, the skillet is fully immersible in water and dishwasher-safe. I just purchased this skillet, and for the price, I am very pleased. I haven't used an electric skillet for years, mainly because they weren't durable. This one is attractive, heats quickly, and is easy to clean. I'm enjoying cooking with it - from simple chicken dishes to meatballs with sauce. The only disappointment, there are no recipes included with the unit, just a flyer describing a cookbook available for purchase (discounted, of course). All in all, I feel this was a good buy.

We received one of these for Christmas and we can't stop using it. This skillet heats up fast, is a great size for anything and absolutely nothing sticks to it! It is perfect for making breakfasts which is why we are registering for another one for our upcoming wedding, that way everything we're making is all ready at the same time. It also doubles as a buffet server which is always handy for entertaining. I highly recommend one of these!

Presto's Electric Skillet and Server is one of the best! I use electric skillets quite frequently in cooking I find that Presto's electric skillet cooks evenly, washes easily and resists scratches better than the other brands. Reasonably priced, it is a good deal for everyday cooking needs.
