I love this griddle. It has been a great addition to our kitchen. I especially love it for cooking pancakes, because you can fit about 8 good size pancakes on at once. It works well for cooking chicken or steaks, obviously not as well as well as a grill, or even a George Foreman indoor grill - but is MUCH easier to clean than the Foreman grill. I would probably prefer the Foreman for meats over this griddle if it would clean up easier.

This griddle has a drip channel for grease and a cup that catches it, but for me doesn't really come into play because you have to cook really fatty foods for the grease to run off. The griddle isn't sloped enough for the grease to run off.

PROS:
* Great for making lots of pancakes
* Can control the temperature to exactly what you need
* Wipes clean very easily (Although the trip channel can be hard to clean)

CONS:
* The smell of the food you cooked the time prior comes through no matter how well you clean it.
* Takes up a lot of room

All in all, this is a great product. If you like making pancakes as much as I do, then the cost is worth it for this use alone!! I think you will be happy with your griddle!

We used to have an electric griddle that was stolen when our home was broken into. Since then I had wanted to get another one and happened to spot this one at Target. It was a differend so I was a little worried, but I figured I'd give it a shot. All I can say is WOW! This is too cool!
Food cooks so easily on this it doesn't even feel like I'm cooking! Bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes, french toast.. almost anything breakfast can be cooked on here. Omelettes are perfect, even heating and so much room. We cook hamburgers, steaks, hot sandwiches, the possibilites are nearly endless. My hubby can even use it!
The grease runs away from the food and into a removable tray so food is healthier than food sitting in a pool of grease in a skillet or fry pan. The non-stick surface works wonderfully so you don't have to add any grease whatsoever and clean up is so simple. Just run it under water and wipe with a soapy dishrag or sponge.
The only complaint is that the backstop is too short. I've lost a slice or two of bacon that slid away from me (VERY non-stick surface!) while trying to flip it! But other than that, I couldn't live without this griddle and I highly recommend it. Especially for busy families with little time to cook.

We have had this griddle for about nine years. It's been virtually perfect. After a GREAT, GREAT deal of use the non-stick coating is finally wearing a little thin in spots, but I'm not a faithful non-stick utensil user - sometimes I cheat and use metal utensils on the thing and I also use SOS pads, which I'm am sure are a no-no, just because they are handy in the sink when I'm washing the griddle. The grease cup catches all the grease, the top is perfectly sized (not too big, not too small), I LOVE this griddle. I cannot praise this griddle enough. Simple, reliable, durable - a true old kitchen friend indeed. Enjoy yours as we have ours.

I have had this same exact griddle for over a year now and couldnt live without it. Like another reviewer said you can make just about ANY breakfast food.
I have noticed that the side where you plug the cord into does cook SLIGHTLY faster than the other end, but its still great.
I have purchased this item for friends housewarming gifts and they all love it.

We have had years of experience using Presto products and knew that we wanted to stay with the Presto product if the style and features were suitable...they were! We placed the order and in just several days we received the Griddle, much sooner than we expected. It was as advertised except there was a very small chip off one end of the plastic. We called Presto and they immediately shipped the replacement part which took less than 15 minutes to install using a 1/4" nut driver. The Griddle works perfectly and has already proven itself during several breakfasts for houseguests. Amazon.com is a good place to shop and Presto has a good product that they stand behind.

This is our first griddle, but we really, really love it so far. We received it for Christmas, and made pancakes for 4 at one time. It far exceeds our expectations, and we were so happy to get it. It's an awesome, awesome griddle, and we highly recommend it!!!

I use this griddle all the time. I was a little bit bummed when I saw the same griddle at Kohl's for about 1/2 price! Works great though.

Cooking breakfast for 11 can get hectic, but with the Cool Touch grill, my 10 year old grandaughter enjoys making the pancakes and French toast. Of course, she has supervision, but we can make many items at once making my mornings easier when my children are home to visit.

Don't know how we ever lived without this. It's great for pancakes, eggs, hamburgers and just about anything you need to cook. We don't even use our stove anymore since getting this. It's easy to clean too. Highly recommend this product. It's great.

This griddle does a great job on pancakes, but I've found that it's a bit slow for sausages and bacon. It's easy to clean (fully immersible without the cord, and non-stick) and, although large, easy to store in my small kitchen, where it sits above the microwave, ready to be used for pancakes.
