For someone just getting into deep frying, this is a must have book. Wonderful photos and great instructions. Most recipes are fairly easy using ingredients we usually have on hand. Well worth the reasonable price.

This is a very well written cookbook. The recipes have pictures and lots of ideas for things to fry.

Excellent author Mable Hoffman wrote this years back strictly for small fryers. It does NOT address large "turkey fryers"; Amazon offers three other cookbooks that do that quite well, plus a "vanity book" which poorly covers four different types of cookers sold by the author.

My book arrived in poor condition, broken spine and some soiled pages. I did not know I was buying a fryer for mini fryers, but the recipes were readily adabtible. Simple to understand, good tasting recipes were much appreciated. I would recommend this book to friends

this has all the same junk food that comes with a deep fryer. i was looking for something new for vegetables and meats. not just french fries. dissappointed.

I'm so happy to see that this book is still available. Years ago, when they first came out, I bought a Presto Fry Baby. My son & I were living alone then and we used it all the time. This book provided great ideas for us to experiment with. Through the years I lost track of both the fryer and the book. Today I bough a new Fry Daddy. My next purchase will be this book. Mabel Hoffman has never let me down in any of her books!
