Although this pressure regulator is the correct replacement per National Presto, it is NOT the one pictured (the original one that came with the pressure cooker) and a replacement can be purchased less expensive elsewhere.

Have used this a few times since purchasing for my old pressure cooker and it is a very sturdy good quality product. Will use it forever as long as I don't loose it like the original one.

This product was exactly what it was advertised to be and went right into place on the pressure cooker.

Not a lot to evaluate about a pressure cooker regulator. Found replacement for the one that we lost. Was shipped promptly.

The one I received is just like the original on my 6 qt Presto pressure cooker. Works perfectly, arrived quickly. Am very pleased.

My Dad has a Presto Pressure Cooker that was bought in the 60's. Mom lost the regulator in a move and so she just put the cooker away. After her death, Dad found the pressure cooker and asked if I could get a new regulator. The style had changed but it worked the same. Good deal.

First, the item is not what is shown, that should be updated.
We have used it and it works like the old one so we are pleased.

After using my pressure cooker for many years and having the pressure regulator actually break into pieces, I was sure I would never be able to replace it. Much to my amazement, I found the replacement available at Amazon! Ordered it and it works perfectly. Was able to pass the pressure cooker to my son because I bought a new one after the regulator broke.

Now I'm am able to use my older pressure cooker again. The original regulator fell apart. This seems to be a better design.
