Good product but...
Product fits perfectly but its too expensive for a piece of rubber. Consumers have no choice to buy the item or buy a new pressure cooker.

Seal
This isn't really a fair assessment. I'm sure the seal was fine .. the aluminum pressure cooker just gave up on me after years of service. I tossed it and the new seal etc. I bought another Presto Pressure Cooker .. this time electric Stainless Steel. I love it so far .. I suspect it will be some time before it needs a seal.

My pressure cooker had stopped holding in the steam necessary to cook under pressure. The steam was seeping out. I had thought I would need to buy a new pressure cooker until I found this part. I changed the seal and now my pressure cooker is working like new. Saved me quite a bit of money.

I'm about to buy one, and I just checked my Amazon history to verify that I bought my last one almost exactly a year ago. They fit and hold a seal like they should, but they're a bit pricy and don't seem to last as long as they should. This will be my 3rd gasket since I got my pressure cooker in about 06.

I bought it in Nov. 2009, now it's Apr. 2010, the ring start leaking and not useful. For the original one, I used for about 2 years.
