We have used older Presto Models of the
Hamburger maker. This is the best so far. Having to be on a special diet my husband was told he could have sausage if it were not greasey and it must be WELL cooked. Ideal tool. The grease drains away from the sausage patty into the space beneath. Great tool.

I really like it. I haved cooked eggs and small steaks and hambugers on it. It cooks really fast, and there's very little clean up. It comes in hand for a fast meal just for me to eat. At first when I cooked a hambuger on it I forgot to spreay it with oil and my hambuger stuck to the drain pan. I made the mistake of turning it upside down and water and greasse went everywhere lol. I am trying not to make that mistake again. I highly recomend this hambuger maker.

It is an excellent way to do a midnight snack (hamburger). Or at anytime for that matter. I have used it several times and the last time I used it, the bottom handle broke. I contacted the customer srvice folks and they sent me a replacement bottom piece, no hassles. I found out that you must be soft handed when pressing the hamburger lid down till it clicks(I tend to have a strong grip). I also found out that the first time you use it, you should spray it with Pam or some such product. Overall it satisfies my need for the occasional hamburger and it does it well.
