This is a great cooker. We already have a larger Presto pressure cooker and we needed a smaller version. This one is the perfect size. It works better than our older one because it has newer features. Of course, our older one is over 30 years old and it is still working great. So, I expect this one to be even better and serve us just as long. So far, it has exceeded my expectations.

I love my Presto 6 Quart Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker. It is just the right size - plenty big enough for company, but small enough for my husband and I. The small handle across from the main handle allows easy handling. It cleans up quickly and is as good as new. It makes preparing last minute meals a cinch!

Received the pressure cooker in a very timely manner. It was double packed which is unusual anymore and not damaged in any way. We're cooking with it already. I came with a nice little cookbook plus there are many, many recipes on the internet, of course, for pressure cookers. Our only regret is that the diameter is smaller than the old models so you can't brown very many pieces of meat at a time prior to the pressure cooking stage. Other than that, it works quite well. I like the cover lock/pressure indicator, which is a safety feature.

I bought this pressure cooker and It is a pleasure to cook with. I use it mostly for unexpected family drop-ins. This way I can make a roast in record time and the cooker does all the work. Love it.

I am extremely happy with the Presto Pressure Cooker. I am amazed at the improvements in the cooker from my Mother's old one. I had given up on this method of cooking until I finally tried this unit. It is easy, fast and the food is awesome. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if at least a small cook book had been provided with the cooker. The Presto cook book we bought was grossly inadequate. However, I still enjoy using the pressure cooker and would recommend it to everyone.

Don't bother to shop around for your pressure cooker just purchase this one. Arrives in about 5 days after purchase, it is stainless steel, the only one you want, works like a charm. Cleans up like new after you have cooked a meal. Get one now!!!

I must use this about 4 times a week. Even if I do not use it as a pressure cooker is it a great heavy bottom saucepan. As for leakages, discolouration or anything else people have said - mine has been perfect.

Yes the bottom will discolour slightly, but this is mainly from my horrible electric stove that I am not used to cooking on over gas. Considering the use it gets from me (cooking legumes, curries, beets, chilli....anything). I've had the product for about 5 months now

Would definitely recommend and is great for the price.

This is a great pressure cooker. I got it for my mom who loves to cook Chinese style soup with pork ribs and this cooker cuts down the cooking time from a couple hours to less than 15 minutes! She's more than happy with it and wish we have thought about getting it earlier.

This is a great pressure cooker, especially for the price. It cooks just like it should. I love the pressure lock feature. It lets you know when the pressure is gone from inside so that you know exactly when it's ready to open (for anybody who's ever accidentally opened a pressurized cooker... it is NOT a good idea lol). It also looks nice if you give it a light polish every once in a while. I also love that it came with the strainer lid. I don't know why anybody would spend a lot of money on a different pressure cooker.
